As one of the 29 U.S. companies selected for this Trade Mission, IMSG\n will sign additional agreements with China\u2019s Air Traffic Management \nBureau (ATMB). The agreements will further the cooperation among IMSG \nand the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and industry to \npromote IMSG\u2019s precision aviation weather forecast system to be \ncustomized and deployed in China. Since weather is one of the leading \ncauses for the nation\u2019s massive flight delays, this system will enhance \nChina\u2019s aviation weather forecast and professional service capabilities.\n It will provide timely and effective help to China\u2019s tireless efforts \nto reduce flight delays and diversion in recent years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
IMSG\u2019s new system is called Enterprise Integrated Aviation Weather \nSystem (eIAWS\u00ae). It provides more accurate, timely, and useful \naviation weather forecasts for air traffic control centers at various \nlevels, and for airlines and airports. In addition to reducing flight \ndelays, it will help increase safety and decrease pollution and wasted \nfuel. It meets the big air traffic volume, large scale operation, and \nthe continued growth needs in China \u2013 projected to be the world\u2019s \nlargest civil aviation market by 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Vance Hum (CEO) and Dr. Le Jiang (Vice President and Chief \nScientist) will represent IMSG during the trade mission to interact with\n both the U.S. and China sides for a range of activities.
