In addition, Chile is \nsaid to lack adequate resources to combat the blazes, which as of \nJanuary 27, numbered more than 75 and had burned more than 700,000 \nacres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although true-color images like this may look like photographs, they \naren\u2019t. True-color imagery is created by combining VIIRS\u2019s color \nchannels that are sensitive to the red, green and blue (or RGB) \nwavelengths of light.
