I. M. Systems Group, (IMSG) signed Memorandum of Understanding with Vietnam National Space Center (VNSC) for developing integrated aperture radar (SAR) applications for LOTUSat.
For over the past 15 years, IMSG has contributed actively to the U.S. Satellite Remote Sensing Program. Building on the foundation of this remote sensing expertise, IMSG is offering VNSC the ability to develop synthetic aperture radar (SAR) applications. These applications include agriculture, maritime surveillance, forest management, disaster risk reduction, hydrology, land management, and climate change adaptation. All these applications have positive impacts on economic benefits. The bilateral cooperation agreement will begin with the deployment of a high-performance computing system at VNSC and testing of SAR applications in disaster and climate change management.
