A series of storm systems will continue to bring widespread precipitation into northern California and the Pacific Northwest through the coming weekend. 10 to 12 inches of rain is possible, with local amounts up to 15 inches along the immediate coasts and west of the Cascades by next week. The region is capable of absorbing a lot of rainfall but there is a possibility that several wet storms will continue to impact the area into next week.
