Nor’easter in New England, Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms for South Florida | NOAA

Across the Northeast U.S., a slow moving coastal storm will continue to bring periods of rain going into early Friday. By Friday evening, the cyclone pulls slowly away from the region and allows for improving conditions from west to east. A few inches of rain is possible over parts of New England through the end of the week.

Across southern Florida and the Keys, periods of heavy rain with embedded thunderstorms is forecast to continue through Thursday evening as moisture from a weak tropical low intersects a stationary front to its northeast.
